Case 9
A seventy five-year-old female came to our hospital late at night suffering from abdominal pain and vomiting 4 times after dinner. No raw fish was eaten. She previously had hysterectomy due to uterine myoma a few decades ago. Tenderness was found at the area surrounding the naval. Laboratory test revealed white blood cells (WBC) 8780/ mm3; CRP 0.02 mg/dl; neutophils 90.7 % (40-71). After non-enhanced CT, the patient was given with enema of glycerol, evacuating massive stool. On the following day, abdominal pain still remained. The patient received contrast enhanced CT.
