Case 60
We present four cases (Fig.1-4); two cases with chronic alcoholism: two cases with Alzheimer disease. Each case was already diagnosed based on clinical symptoms and previous alcohol consumption history. MRI was conducted in four cases for various reasons such as to check ischemic or traumatic brain damage. The purpose of presenting these cases is to differentiate the brain atrophy of chronic alcoholism from that of Alzheimer disease on MRI.
