Case 322

 We present two cases with lumbar pain; Case 1 is a thirteen-year-old boy who appealed back pain when swinging the bat. He took lumbar MRI (Fig.1): Case 2 is seventy-four-year-old female who was usually lying bed, appealing lumbar pain with left hemiplegia. She took MRI (Fig. 2).

What causes lumbar pain in Case 1?

1. Lumbar hernia

2. Spondylolisthesis

3. Spondylolysis

4. Disk injury


What causes lumbar pain in Case 2

1. Compression fracture

2. Disk hernia

3. Spinal canal stenosis

4. Painful Schmorl nodule

5. Intervertebral arthritis
