A Case of the 10 days

A fifty-year-old female presented in our hospital for epigastric pain after eating jelly at midnight. Approximately one hour later, she experienced heavy pain at epigastric region. She asked ambulance to take her to our hospital. Medical findings indicated extensive rigidity and tenderness at epigastric region. She had no past-history of receiving surgical operation. Laboratory test revealed white blood cells 7620/mm3 neutrophils 48.7%, lymphocyte 45.0 %, CRP 0.01mg/dL, platelets 419000/ mm3. She took abdomen CT using contrast medium for further investigation.
