Case 231

 A twenty five-year-old female presented in our hospital for abdominal pain. She was being in fertility treatment. Three days ago, she received egg retrieval. Several hours later, she felt expansion of abdomen and vibration of abdomen when walking. She smoked cigarettes three packs for two days. Abdominal findings were positive coughing sign and percussion tenderness. Laboratory test revealed CRP 1.48 mg/dL, white blood cells 11510/mm3, neutrophils 75.2%, lymphocytes 15.8%, red blood cells 427 X 104/mm3. She agreed to take non-enhanced CT and a few hours later contrast-enhanced CT for further investigation (Figs 1 to 3).

2. Polycystic ovaries

3. Bilateral cystadenoma – borderline malignancy

4. Bilateral cystadenocarcinoma

5. Metastatic ovary tumors
