Case 229

 An eleven-year-old boy presented with his mother in our hospital for headache. He felt slight headache two weeks ago and left school earlier than usual. Thereafter, remittent headache continued. On the whole, headache was gradually worse and heavy headache with vomiting occurred one week ago. He experienced persistent headache with being unable to eat meals for a few days. He had experienced the similar headache and had been admitted for several days in University Hospital three years ago. He took brain CT and MRI (Figs 1 to 5) for comparison with the previous CT & MRI.

1. Cortical dysplasia

2. Temporal sclerosis

3. Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor

4. Ganglioglioma

5. Meningio-angiomatosis
