A forty two-year-old male was transported to our hospital with repeated vomiting two hours after massive intake of water in a toilet. He had a severe mental retardation. Previously, he did the same behavior at times but this time the water volume was extraordinary. Laboratory test revealed Na
126 mEq/L, K 3.5 mEq/L, CRP 0.02 mg/dL, White blood cell 2770/mm3, platelets 183000/mm3, procalcitonin 18.57ng/mL. His mother and he agreed to take abdomen CT.
