A fifty one-year-old female presented in our hospital for persistent pain at her left hypochondriac region almost all day. The pain gradually strengthened, becoming piercing. She first felt the pain approximately two weeks before which was persistent until present. She also experienced persistent fever of 37℃ to 38℃ while feeling the pain. She smoked 10 cigarettes/day for approximately 30 years. She started to get pill for reducing large volume of menstruation. Laboratory test revealed PTINR 1.29, D dimer 8.7, CRP 3.21 mg/dL, red blood cells 493/mm3, Hb 15.9g/dL. She received enhanced CT using contrast medium.
